Dr. Libby Metka

Dr. Libby Metka grew up in the Cincinnati area before receiving her undergraduate and veterinary degree from Ohio State University (Go Bucks!). While swimming for Ohio State, she met her now husband, Kevin, an OSU tennis player. Prior to Mission Vet Urgent Care, Libby worked at a mixed animal practice and a small animal general practice. She enjoys the challenge and variety that comes with urgent care work and that no two days are the same. She has a special interest in surgery.

When Libby is not at work, she enjoys traveling, boating with her friends/family and dog, and all things sports. If Libby had it her way she would have a house full of pets, but Kevin has limited the pets to their dog Zeke and an Abyssinian cat named Roo. Dr. Metka can’t wait to meet you and your pet!
